Terms of use

Last updated: 13 October 2026

These terms govern the use of www.intbbc.org, the website of International Geneva BBC, a basketball club based in Geneva, Switzerland. By using the site you accept them.

1. Publisher

The site is published by International Geneva BBC (International Basket-ball Club de Genève), Chemin Eugène-Rigot 2, Case postale 136, 1211 Genève 21, Switzerland — internationalbbcgeneve@gmail.com.

2. Information on the site

The site presents the club, its teams, its calendar and its results. We take care to keep it accurate and up to date, but fixtures, venues and times are set by the league and can change at short notice: check the calendar again before travelling to a game.

The information is provided as is, without any guarantee that it is complete or free of errors.

3. Trial requests and membership

Sending a trial request through the site does not guarantee a place in a team. Places depend on the squads and on the coaches’ decision, as set out in the club rules. Membership fees are those published on the site for the current season.

4. Member area

The member area is reserved for the club’s members, coaches and committee. Your account is personal: keep your password to yourself and tell us if you think someone else has used it. The club may suspend an account that is misused.

5. Intellectual property

The texts, the club’s name and crest, the photos and the videos on the site belong to the club or are used with the permission of their authors. They may not be reused without the club’s written agreement, except to share a link to the site.

The names and logos of sponsors, partners and federations belong to their respective owners.

6. Photos

The site shows photos of games, practices and club events. If you appear in a photo and would like it removed, write to us and we will take it down.

7. Links to other sites

The site links to other websites — federations, partners, maps, social networks. The club has no control over them and is not responsible for their content or for how they handle your data.

8. Liability

To the extent permitted by law, the club is not liable for damage resulting from the use of the site, from an error or an omission in its content, or from the site being temporarily unavailable.

9. Personal data

How the site handles personal data and cookies is described in the privacy policy.

10. Applicable law

These terms are governed by Swiss law. Any dispute falls within the jurisdiction of the courts of the Canton of Geneva, subject to mandatory legal provisions.

The club may amend these terms; the version published on this page applies.
